Following the success of our very first retreat, The Privé Retreat Prague marked the next chapter in our journey. What began in Davos continued in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, bringing together an even stronger community of international destination wedding planners and trusted industry partners.
Over three inspiring days, we welcomed 13 destination wedding planners from the United States alongside 20 European service providers. Together, we explored Prague’s rich history, exceptional hospitality, and world-renowned wedding venues while creating meaningful relationships that continue far beyond the retreat itself.
Discovering Prague Through Local Expertise
Guided by Martina from Alp Weddings, we experienced Prague from the perspective of a true local expert. From its charming streets to its breathtaking viewpoints, every moment was carefully curated to showcase why the Czech capital has become such a sought-after destination for luxury weddings.
One of the highlights of the day was our visit to Villa Richter, an exceptional wedding venue overlooking the city. Surrounded by stunning views and historic architecture, guests discovered a location that perfectly reflects the elegance and character of Prague.
Throughout the retreat, participants stayed at three of Prague’s finest five-star hotels: Mandarin Oriental Prague, Fairmont Golden Prague, and Augustine Prague. Each hotel welcomed our group with genuine hospitality, offering exclusive site visits through their rooms, suites, and wedding facilities while sharing their unique approach to hosting extraordinary celebrations.
The evening concluded with an intimate dinner at the Augustine Prague, accompanied by live music in a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged conversations to continue long into the night.
Experiencing Prague Together
On the second day, guests were invited to immerse themselves even deeper into the destination.
Together, we explored Prague Castle, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, before experiencing a traditional Slivovitz tasting that offered a glimpse into Czech culture and hospitality. These shared experiences created the perfect setting for authentic conversations, new friendships, and future collaborations.
An Evening of Celebration
The retreat concluded with an unforgettable Gala Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Prague.
Surrounded by elegant details, exceptional cuisine, and inspiring company, the evening celebrated everything The Privé Retreat is built upon. Live entertainment by DJ Bertolucci and the outstanding saxophonist KJ Sax created an unforgettable atmosphere that perfectly complemented the evening’s sophisticated setting.
Looking around the room, it became clear how much the community had already grown since our first retreat. Familiar faces reunited, new relationships were formed, and conversations naturally evolved into future collaborations.
